I understand that the HS2. Project is an EU instruction. to link the whole of Europe with the HS 2,network. Why is this never mentioned.

Because it’s not. HS2 is a UK vanity project predicated on maintaining old technology. There was no EU money nor any ‘directive’. Think vinyl versus CD or CD vs streaming. The problem is assuming you have to move people in order to move knowledge. In its own small way Zoom has shown that moving people is largely unnecessary.
